Our Story

Why Most Healthcare Initiatives Fail— and What We Do Differently

The Buckson Group was built from firsthand experience inside the day-to-day realities of running a healthcare practice.

As Chief Administrative Officer of an orthopaedic practice, Rebecca Rogers was responsible for operations, performance, and execution—and saw the same pattern repeatedly. The industry is full of new technologies, vendors, and performance initiatives designed to improve outcomes, yet many never reach their full potential.

Practices don’t lack ideas—they lack the capacity to execute them.

Like many healthcare leaders, Rebecca faced the constant pull between managing daily operations and driving meaningful change. Limited bandwidth, staffing challenges, and competing priorities made it difficult to move initiatives forward—let alone see them through.

Even with the right solutions in place, implementation was often delayed, fragmented, or unsuccessful.

The Execution Gap

For many practices, hiring a full-time resource to lead short-term, high-impact initiatives isn’t financially practical—leaving them stuck between knowing what needs to be done and having the capacity to execute.

There is no shortage of strategy in healthcare. What’s missing is execution.

Rebecca saw this firsthand. Even with the right ideas and tools in place, limited bandwidth, competing priorities, and internal challenges often prevented progress.

Without focused execution, initiatives stall, tools go underutilized, and opportunities are missed.

That experience led to a clear focus: turning plans into action—and results.

The Solution: The Buckson Group

Rebecca recognized that stepping outside the noise of daily operations—and focusing solely on execution—creates the space to drive real progress.

The Buckson Group is a hands-on execution partner for physician-owned practices— built to fill that gap.

We work alongside leadership teams—reducing operational burden and turning existing strategies into measurable results.

By understanding both the operational realities and the goals of the practice, The Buckson Group brings clarity, alignment, and momentum to complex initiatives.

The mission is simple: provide focused, short-term support that drives long-term operational impact.

Our Name

The Buckson Group name reflects both family and partnership. “Buck” comes from Rebecca’s nickname, “Buckrogers,” and “Son” represents the next generation—her son, Sid Rogers, who supports select client engagements.

Sid brings a background in biomedical engineering and experience in the medical device industry, along with strengths in finance, marketing, and business development. His involvement adds perspective while maintaining the same hands-on, execution-focused approach clients rely on.
